Job summary

RTX Corporation in Woburn, MA is seeking a Sr Program Manager for the Strategic Early Warning product group. You will manage cost, technical, and schedule performance for Early Warning Radar systems and coordinate risk across programs, reporting to senior management.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of experience, EVMS/PMX Level 4 certifications, IMS scheduling expertise, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• EVMS certification; PMX Level 4 certification or ability to achieve within 1 year.
• Experience developing IMS with clear understanding of critical chain and risk management.
• Experience creating executive presentations using MS Office, MS Project, etc.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives to successful completion across cross-functional teams.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal preparation, SOWs and specifications development, cost estimates, and contract negotiations.
• Lead Risk & Opportunities management and reporting for financial reviews.
• Lead program start-up artifacts (CWBS, directives, IPDS tailoring, etc.).
• Establish program milestones and develop/monitor Integrated Master Schedules with adherence to plans, budgets and schedules.
• Oversee capital projects to facilitate expansion.
• Drive compliant contract execution to achieve strong CPAR ratings.
• Implement objectives of the Annual Operating Plan.
• Develop control methodologies and reporting structures to measure progress and identify problems.
• Ensure security, quality control, facilities, risk management, and staffing controls on assigned efforts.
• Coordinate with Engineering on technical performance and work with Finance on financial controls.
• Report program status to senior management via written and oral communications.
• Act as primary customer contact on status and satisfaction; travel domestically as required.
