Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Program Manager to support our Pacific Operations Office in Honolulu, Hawai'i. This role oversees DoD and federal contracts, manages staffing, funding, and deliverables, and works to grow government programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in program management, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Travel 5-20% is required, with opportunities to contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Management or related field with 5+ years in project/program management.
• Experience managing DoD and other Federal contracts and programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead multiple programs and travel 5-20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple DoD and Federal projects on-site and off-site within assigned areas.
• Oversees contracts/task orders to ensure planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Tracks funding, labor hours, costs, and provides ETC reports.
• Staffing: oversees recruitment, onboarding, and coordination with customers.
• Identifies risks, applies lessons learned, and ensures issue resolution.
• Prepares weekly and monthly contract deliverables and reports.
• Communicates with client on performance and labor issues.
• Fosters relationships with employees, customers and prospects.
• Supports business development opportunities.
• Reviews contracts and modifications; reviews invoices; assists Finance with AR.
• Travels 5-20% and manages 24/7/365 operations as required.
