Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks a Program Manager to oversee DoD and federal contracts, directing program execution, monitoring progress, and coordinating with customers and corporate offices.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Business Management and 5+ years of program management experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Occasional travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Management or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple Government contracts.
• Operational leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating resources.
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and deadlines.
• Regulatory compliance experience and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Manages DoD and Federal projects across on- and off-site locations.
• Oversees contracts and task orders within the area of operations.
• Tracks funding, labor hours, costs, and ETA for completion.
• Oversees staffing, requisitions, interviews, and onboarding with customers.
• Identifies risks, implements lessons learned, and ensures issue resolution.
• Prepares Weekly and Monthly status reports and other deliverables.
• Responds to client questions regarding performance and labor.
• Develops client relationships and pursues business opportunities.
• Reviews contracts, modifications, and monthly invoices; assists finance with AR.
• Participates in special projects; travel 5–20% as required.
• Coordinates shift schedules and 24/7/365 operations as needed.
