Job summary

Prime Medicine, Inc. is seeking an outstanding Program Manager to advance early discovery programs through IND approval. You will refine our program management framework, lead PM activities, and partner with research leadership to set strategy and milestones.

You will drive execution, manage budgets, identify risks, and present updates across the organization. This role shapes governance, prioritizes investments, and reinforces high-performing teams to accelerate scientific impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in industry with 3+ years managing programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific area required; business training desirable.
• Genetic medicines experience highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in prioritizing and driving complex programs to milestone completion.
• Strategic and financial acumen with ability to develop and manage program plans, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide program strategy with research leadership.
• Lead program management activities: project plans, timelines, milestones, meeting minutes, decision support.
• Drive execution of program strategy and integrated development plan with urgency.
• Identify risks, gaps, and bottlenecks; develop mitigation plans.
• Develop and manage program budgets and long-range plan; scenario planning as needed.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and present program updates.
• Support discovery-stage program plans and governance forums.
