Job summary

Absci Corp. seeks a Director, Program Management to drive planning and execution of complex therapeutic programs from discovery through IND and into the clinic.

You will own the integrated development plan, manage budgets, and coordinate with AI, Discovery, Protein Engineering, and Clinical teams to ensure on-time stage-gate decisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience in fast-paced biotech environments, including 5+ years leading drug development programs.
• Demonstrated track record of success in fast-paced biotech organizations with high performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated program management partner to a program leader across a portfolio of assets, from discovery through IND and clinical entry.
• Build and maintain the integrated, cross-functional development plan as the single source of truth for scope, timeline, budget.
• Forecast and align program resources; manage CROs, CDMOs, and external partners.
• Prepare programs for governance reviews and present updates to executive leadership and alliance partners.
• Maintain dashboards and provide regular updates with real-time visibility into status and spend.
