Job summary

Prime Medicine in Cambridge, MA is seeking an outstanding Program Manager to advance early discovery programs through IND approval. You will refine our program management methodology and lead management across our early research teams, reporting to the VP of Programs and Strategy.

You will partner with research leadership to set strategy, develop plans and milestones, drive cross-functional execution, manage budgets, and present progress at internal meetings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in industry, with 3+ years leading programs
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area; business training preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and drive complex programs to milestones
• Proficiency with program management tools and willingness to adopt best practices
• Strategic and financial acumen for budgets and timelines

Responsibilities

• Develop program strategy with research leadership and set program goals
• Create project plans, track milestones, run meetings, and document decisions
• Drive execution of integrated development plans with urgency
• Identify risks and bottlenecks; develop mitigation plans
• Manage budgets and long-range resourcing plans
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and present updates
