Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Reno, NV is seeking a seasoned Program Manager V for Defense & National Security to lead cross-functional program execution. You will develop PM documentation, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and customers in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires 20+ years in program management, including DOD propulsion programs, with strong leadership, risk management, and customer briefing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 20+ years of program management experience including 10-15 years in DOD propulsion programs.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules/Plans, Earned Value Management.
• Experience managing large subcontracts.
• Experience briefing executive management and customers on status, risks, and plans.
• Experience managing programs for U.S. Government Customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor projects to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define, generate, and review project management materials.
• Ensure resources (engineering, manpower, production, facilities) are available.
• Coordinate with project staff on budgeting and execution.
• Ensure all program deliverables are met.
• Identify and elevate risks and issues early.
• Serve as primary customer contact for project information.
• Pursue follow-on/new business opportunities with customers.
• Adhere to internal Program Management processes.
• Participate in customer meetings and reviews.
• Input into proposals for follow-on work.
• Travel up to 25% to customer locations.
