The role leads a cross-functional organization aligned to program performance goals, with responsibilities spanning from planning and budgeting to risk management and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years (or STEM degree with 9 years) experience in U.S. Government contracts or PM in other industries
• 6 years leading tasks on schedule and at cost as project lead or cost account manager
• 6 years leading teams to achieve a common goal
• Competency in Project Management skills and toolsets
• Knowledge of pricing and proposals
• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Cultivating customer relationships to develop opportunities
• Developing long-term strategic plans, capture plans, and proposals
• Establishing a program organization that addresses requirements
• Leading cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals
• Measuring and reporting program performance
• Delivering presentations to customers and executives
• Negotiating contracts, changes, budgets, and milestones
• Defining design concepts, SOWs, and engineering efforts
• Managing baselines and resources
• Adhering to applicable processes and standards
• Managing risk and opportunities across the program
