Job summary

Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Centers of Excellence portfolio and provide operational leadership across centers at the Gainesville campus. You will coordinate designation, reporting, and governance while building scalable processes and cross-center collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Institute's primary operational liaison for the Centers of Excellence portfolio.
• Coordinate center designation, certification, renewal, and annual reporting.
• Maintain an accurate portfolio inventory including leadership, affiliations, and milestones.
• Support development and launch of new Centers of Excellence.
• Monitor activities for opportunities, risks, and resource considerations for leadership.
• Promote collaboration and consistency across Centers while recognizing disease-specific needs.
• Develop and maintain shared operational infrastructure including SOPs, templates, dashboards, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve staff experience.
• Evaluate systems and processes to strengthen portfolio management and reporting.
