Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for our Cell Therapy initiatives in Summit West, NJ. You will partner with cross-functional teams and IT to define timelines, budgets, and resource plans, delivering complex programs on schedule.

The role requires SDLC expertise, Agile/SCRUM, and strong leadership to drive governance, risk management, and process improvements within the PPM team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of PM experience in a GMP environment.
• 5+ years using SDLC methodologies, including Agile and SCRUM.
• Proficient in project management processes: planning, resources, risk and issue management.
• Experience leading large programs, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and executive presentation skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/IT project integrations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Cell Therapy programs.
• Define project charters, high-level timelines, and budget needs with stakeholders.
• Define, secure, and communicate resource plans.
• Develop detailed schedules and monitor progress, risks, and issues.
• Manage interdependencies between business and technology delivery timelines.
• Lead risk/mitigation planning and escalation as needed.
• Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documents, and risk assessments.
• Lead process improvements within the PPM team and mature PM practices.
• Oversee multiple cross-functional initiatives from initiation to governance.
• Ensure alignment with Global Project timelines and budgets.
