Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health or informatics field.
• 5 years relevant experience including 2 years supervisory.
• Certification as Oncology Data Specialist (ODS).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, relational databases, and EHR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, processing, workflow, and system integration for the NJ State Cancer Registry.
• Assist the Director in strategic planning and guide surveillance operations.
• Represent the registry in regional and national forums (SEER/NPCR/NAACCR/NCRA).
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and data confidentiality.
• Manage and develop staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain multi-source surveillance information systems.
• Provide epidemiologic study support using registry data.
