Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Manager for Cancer Registry to protect data integrity, timeliness, and multi-state reporting compliance through operational leadership of registry services, staff supervision, AI-enabled workflow oversight, and oncology program governance support.

The role oversees case finding, abstraction, follow-up, data submission, audits, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

Qualifications

• 3 years leadership, supervisory, or management experience
• 3 years coordinating oncology accreditation, quality, regulatory or program improvement initiatives
• Experience with oncology data governance and privacy practices

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for cancer registry staff with workforce planning and performance management
• Develop and maintain registry policies, procedures and standard work
• Monitor backlog, productivity and abstraction timeliness to meet deadlines
• Oversee staff onboarding, education, certification development and competency validation
• Monitor AI-enabled registry system performance and optimize workflows
• Oversee daily registry operations including case finding, abstraction, follow-up and reporting
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of registry data and reporting
• Collaborate with physician leaders and governance committees to sustain oncology program standards
• Act as primary liaison for state registries and data privacy governance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field
