Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health-related field is required.
• ODS credential from the National Cancer Registrars Association with knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, oncology, coding, and staging.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical data abstraction for cancer registry per ACS CoC and NJ State Registry guidelines.
• Maintain accurate data for diagnosed and treated patients and ensure readiness for reporting.
• Record cancer data from medical records and use AJCC TNM and Collaborative staging systems.
