Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead development programs across STARR-related domains with minimal supervision under the SBU PMO Leader. You will drive scope, schedule, cost, delivery and quality across multiple locations, coordinating with product management, engineering, and certification teams.

You will report to the Sr. Director Program Manager and operate on a hybrid work schedule, leveraging PM tools such as SOW, WBS, BOE, IMS, and Earned Value Management to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of work experience in program/project management.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience in a global organization.
• Minimum 1 year of experience of AGILE.
• Experience with IPDS or similar processes.
• PMP or related certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program management function and oversee program activities.
• Develop and implement program management strategies and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with program management standards and guidelines.
• Manage program performance metrics and reporting
• Generate, implement program plans and business requirements within approved budget and schedule constraints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with various Customer Business Teams to support performance, schedule and cost requirements
• Employ PM tools and processes including SOW, WBS, BOE, scheduling, and cost management
• Adhere to IPDS phase gates and MOS practices
• Present program details to leadership and cross-functional audiences
