Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL seeks a Manager Programs 2 to lead the E-2D Fleet Sustainment IPT. You will manage cost, schedule and technical performance, directing cross-functional teams and shaping program requirements for follow-on work.

Responsibilities include coordinating budgets, risks and contract deliverables, and delivering client presentations while maintaining strong customer relationships. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience or Master's with 8 years; STEM degree reduces experience by 1 year.
• Related experience includes project management, program management, engineering, capture support, supply chain, business management, and/or other qualifying leadership roles.
• Willingness/Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating customer relationships to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
• Leading cross-functional IPTs to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
• Developing proposals and business plans; supporting RFIs and RFPs for opportunities.
• Establishing a program organization that addresses customer requirements and sub-organizations.
• Managing program cost, schedule, and technical performance; reporting progress.
