Job summary

Firestorm is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end programs in aerospace and defense. You will coordinate engineering, product, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver high-performance systems that meet schedule and budget targets.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and rigorous program governance. You will manage global programs from concept through New Product Introduction and deployment, negotiating with Sales/BD, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required & the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience leading and managing complex, technical programs; or 9+ years with a degree.
• Proven ability to integrate cost, schedule, and technical baselines for cross-functional programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience preparing proposals or RFQs for aerospace/engineering programs.
• Proficiency with program management tools like Jira or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and track detailed program schedules, budgets, and resource plans for global programs.
• Advocate for resources, budget, and priority, aligning with goals and customer expectations.
• Monitor and report program status with key metrics and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate program risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead development of solutions to resolve program issues and ensure technical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
