A growing aerospace & defense manufacturer is hiring a Senior Program Manager to own its most important customer programs through its next stage of growth.

You will be the accountable owner from customer requirement to delivered, qualified product, working directly with executive leadership inside a company a year into a serious transformation built on talent, the voice of the customer, and execution in the details.

The product has to work the first time and every time, because when a subassembly slips it is the warfighter downrange who lives with the gap. This is a seat for a program leader who forms the relationship, manages the customer directly, and picks up the phone to find the real issue rather than reporting the slip.

What You'll Own

• Own your customer programs end to end as the primary interface, and drive the real issue to resolution when something is off instead of reporting the slip.
• Own cost, schedule, and financial performance, including earned value on programs over $1M, with the judgment to weigh real mission risk against a scorecard metric.
• Lead the cross-functional program team across procurement, manufacturing, engineering, test, and quality.
• Drive throughput and scale, delivering more without giving up the quality the customer counts on.
• Grow existing accounts by leading proposals and captures from strategy through close.

What We're Looking For

• More than 10 years leading defense, aerospace, or complex electronics hardware programs from development into production, carrying real programs through real problems rather than coordinating status.
• A proven track record as the primary customer interface with real contractual responsibility, comfortable owning the relationship and the hard conversations that come with it.
• Hands-on earned value management on programs over $1M, with the financial literacy to speak to profitability, not only cost and schedule.
• A capture over $5M that you personally led and won, from strategy through negotiation and close.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Preferred Background

• Experience helping a manufacturing operation scale output or run through a transformation.
• Master's degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
• PMP certification.
• Full life cycle experience, from new product introduction into low-rate and full-rate production and sustainment.
• Familiarity with AS9100, IPC/J-STD workmanship classes, ITAR, and resident government quality oversight.
