Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Project Engineer to support multiple propulsion programs. The role requires coordinating with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals.

Responsibilities include managing technical, cost and schedule elements with Earned Value Management, preparing plans, and briefing management and customers. Travel up to 30% may be required and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 6 years of engineering experience.
• Graduate degree with at least 4 years experience; or 10 years if no degree.
• Experience with EVMS, cost accounting, and defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project or process activities within the program management area.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide practical engineering solutions across a range of problems.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule elements using EVMS principles.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design propulsion production processes.
• Brief management and customers on project status and outcomes.
