Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Program Manager, Advanced Programs to lead aerospace and national defense programs across the company, with emphasis on missile defense, advanced target systems, and hardware development and delivery. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the role is matrixed across Aurex’s business areas and functional teams to lead assigned programs and strengthen execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with defense acquisition experience.
17+ years in defense acquisition/program management or aerospace program execution.
Delivery responsibility for hardware programs with suppliers/subcontractors.
Knowledge of DoW acquisition practices and government program reviews.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and executing complex programs.
Ability to obtain DoW Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead programs from planning through delivery and sustainment, meeting objectives.
Establish program plans, schedules, budgets, and performance measures.
Coordinate design readiness reviews; track risks and issues to closure.
Manage supplier and subcontractor execution with cross‑functional teams.
Track drawing releases and engineering changes with the lead engineer.
Present forecasts and recovery plans to senior leadership.
