  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

  • Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core programs.
  • Leads and monitors multiple projects within the program, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways; creates change-management approaches including documentation library, communication plans, and process training.
  • Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting; defines and allocates budget, staff, and other resources.
  • Conducts market and trend analysis to inform program direction and drive innovation; stays abreast of industry developments to enhance competitiveness.

Senior Program Manager At Curtiss-Wright, we lead the design, engineering, and manufacturing of advanced systems and components for the aerospace and defense industry. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team, leads and oversees the performance of a relatively significant program or multiple programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. The program area typically represents more than three functional areas. Ensures successful execution of initiatives, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, budget, and timelines expectations.

LOCATION: Hauppauge, NY

SALARY RANGE: $144,100 - $175,000/year

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex multiple projects and programs, utilizing established methodologies and best practices
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in driving organizational change
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk management and performance optimization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in project management software and tools
