Job summary

CBRE/Turner & Townsend is seeking a strategic Senior Program Manager to oversee a premier capital project portfolio in Cupertino, CA. You will act as the primary commercial point of contact, ensuring financial rigor and best-in-class delivery across high-value Tenant Improvement and New Construction programs ranging from $30M to $100M.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in general contracting and project/program management, with PMP/PgMP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required with 10+ years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered.
  • PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Tenant Improvement and New Construction projects.
  • Staffing, training, coaching, measuring performance and retention experience preferred.
  • Innovative mentality to develop methods beyond existing solutions.
  • Strong problem solving with broad business impact.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products; advanced organizational skills.
  • Strong math skills for complex financial calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage team's daily activities, schedules, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Oversee large cross-functional workplace and tech-lab projects end-to-end.
  • Ensure schedule adherence and escalate/resolven issues to keep programs on time.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to support programs.
  • Develop solutions with key stakeholders and guide project teams.
  • Create and distribute PMO status reports and updated Gantt charts.
  • Model best practices and mentor others across the function.
  • Lead by example and influence senior stakeholders with aligned viewpoints.

About The Role

CBRE/Turner & Townsend is seeking a strategic andcommercially minded Senior Program Manager to support a premier globaltechnology client’s capital project portfolio in Cupertino, CA. In thishigh-impact role, you will serve as the primary commercial point of contact,ensuring financial rigor, benchmarking excellence, and best-in-class deliveryacross a significant portfolio of capital projects.

As a Senior Program Manager based you will be instrumentalin leading and executing complex a high-value Tenant Improvement (TI) programacross our client's campus, with individual project values typically rangingfrom $30M to $100M. Your expertise will be critical in delivering diversespaces, including general office and tech lab spaces.

We are seeking a highlyexperienced professional with a minimum of 10 years of combined experience inGeneral Contracting within the areas of Project and Program Management. Youshould have a proven track record of successfully managing high-complexityprojects exceeding $30M.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Oversee large cross-functional workplace and tech lab projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.
  • Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and any issues get escalated and resolved so that the program gets completed on time.
  • Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
  • Create & distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated Gantt charts.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with our values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree required with 10+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred
  • 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction Tenant Improvement and New Construction projects and programs with a focus in tech labs and/or workplace construction.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $180,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $215,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance
