Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead commercial real estate projects for diverse clients. You will guide projects from initiation through completion, coordinating design, construction, and occupancy while aligning with client objectives.

You will report to client offices or project sites as needed in a hybrid environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and applying CBRE's RISE values to deliver results and exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with commercial real estate projects and demanding clients is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project or similar project management software.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple projects in varying stages simultaneously and the ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope, resources, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Define delivery resources, conduct RFPs, evaluate bids, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Facilitate development of a charter and integrated timeline and ensure schedule adherence.
  • Lead regular meetings to review status and collaborate to develop solutions with the project team.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to develop better methods and mentor others within the function.

About The Role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services for our Bay area market accounts to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The Senior Project Manager will lead commercial real estate projects for various clients for the San Francisco advisory business.

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services for our Bay area market accounts to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The Senior Project Manager will lead commercial real estate projects for various clients for the San Francisco advisory business.

This is a hybrid role, the selected candidate will be required to report to the clients' offices or project offices as dictated by client's needs and project requirements.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You'll Do
  • Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
  • Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or raised.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job subject area and in-depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

What You'll Need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Prior experience working with commercial real estate projects and demanding clients is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with MS Project or similar project management software.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple projects in varying stages simultaneously and the ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $175,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $195,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
