Senior Program Management Analysts/Senior Functional Analysts

Position Overview

Bowhead is seeking multiple Senior Program Management Analysts/Senior Functional Analysts in Washington, D.C. The candidate will provide senior consultative support to assist the Navy ERP program in developing its next-generation capability. Open positions include:

• S/4 Finance Lead
• S/4 Logistics Lead
• Functional Solution Architect (S/4)
• Technical Architect (S/4)
• S/4 Basis SME
• Data Solution Architect (S/4)

The role involves providing expert consultation to define requirements, develop strategy roadmaps, and support architecture development. This position can be remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in performance analysis, business drivers, costs, schedule, and resolving integration issues.
• Prepare documents and briefs for governance meetings to facilitate decision-making.
• Review and update operational plans and documentation, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
• Assess and recommend system, configuration, and user experience enhancements.
• Monitor project results, recommend adjustments, and keep leadership informed.
• Prepare and review briefing materials, including demonstrations.
• Identify schedule risks and communicate them clearly.
• Collaborate on schedule modifications and dependencies.
• Develop business cases considering operational relationships and deliverables.
• Participate in planning meetings, providing strategic analysis and documentation.
• Maintain documentation of processes and configurations.
• Design S/4 data architecture, reporting solutions, and technical architecture.
• Develop low-code/no-code solutions in S/4 environment.
• Design supply and financial solutions based on DoD regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience with SAP S/4 Hana.
• At least 5 years experience with SAP ECC.
• 15+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years in a managerial or lead role.
• Experience with SAP modules (FI, FM, CO, SD, PS, etc.) and recent integration experience; Navy ERP SAP experience preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience developing and delivering briefings to government leadership.
