The HRIS Workday Functional Analyst supports the execution of system setup and workflows across modules within Workday. These roles will partner with HR domain subject matter experts, customers, IT partners, and third parties to better understand and document detailed business requirements. HRIS Functional Analysts will lead business process mapping to identify current gaps and opportunities for Workday automation and standard work; apply technical expertise to enable these processes within Workday; and ensure that configuration of Workday system settings, integrations, and options meet business objectives.

How You'll Contribute
  1. Serve as subject matter expert on Workday including design for business process configuration, security, and administration.
  2. Facilitate meetings to determine business needs and conduct feasibility studies.
  3. Research Workday applications' functionality and features for potential implementation.
  4. Perform Fit/Gap Analysis.
  5. Define mass uploads for organizational and position management changes; troubleshoot data issues.
  6. Facilitate new user security access processing, testing, and adherence to policies.
  7. Provide application support, including incident triage, bug research, and customer escalation response.
  8. Support global data integrity management and address data issues.
  9. Prepare and execute test scripts; support user testing and rollout of new features.
  10. Perform post-implementation evaluations for continuous improvement.
  11. Review audit reports and resolve complex production issues.
  12. Manage service requests with Workday vendors.
  13. Coordinate with IT to ensure security standards.
  14. Plan and monitor tasks for application delivery.
  15. Maintain in-depth functional knowledge of Workday and related business processes.
  16. Collaborate with global HR/HRIS teams for consistency.
  17. Ensure SOX compliance, support data audits, and monitor data integrity.
  18. Guide and mentor junior analysts or resources.
What You'll Bring
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications may be required.
  • 5 years of functional HR experience.
  • Experience with Workday HRMS required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Strong knowledge of Workday configurations, integrations, and BP configuration.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Visio.
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in process improvement and standardization.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.

This role may be remote. Salary range: $95,400 - $127,150 annually. Compensation depends on various factors including experience, skills, and location.
