Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems in New York/New Jersey seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead CTS with full P&L accountability. You will own the end-to-end program lifecycle, drive strategy, and ensure delivery excellence across design, build, operations, and long-term service delivery.

You will manage senior stakeholders, regulators, and partners, lead cross-functional teams, and champion continuous improvement while traveling domestically as needed to advance CTS’ mission and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in program management leadership.
• Strong strategic leadership and vision.
• Experience with full P&L and commercial ownership.
• Deep government relations and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Operational excellence and continuous improvement mindset.
• Financial discipline and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CTS business strategy and annual operating plan.
• Provide leadership for growth, sustainability, and competitive position.
• Own end-to-end programs across design, build, operations, and service delivery.
• Manage program P&L, revenue, profit, cash flow and ROA.
• Direct sales and account management to grow opportunities and manage change orders.
• Engage senior government officials, regulators, customers, and industry partners.
• Represent CTS at executive forums, public meetings, and industry events.
• Contract, claims & risk management with legal coordination.
• Ensure governance, safety, quality, and CTS policies.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams with accountability and engagement.
