Saab, Inc. in East Syracuse, NY is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive profitable program execution within the Surveillance U.S. Division's Product Segment. Relocation is available. This role leads cost, schedule and technical performance, and requires travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, risk management, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration across design and manufacturing to meet customer needs and program milestones.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 12+ years experience or MA/MS with 10+ years or PhD with 8+ years.
• Experience negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements.
• Advanced knowledge of program management standards (scheduling, cost accounting, risk/opportunity management).
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 10%.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned program portfolio.
• Establish and control program budgets aligned with program needs.
• Establish and control program schedule to meet milestones.
• Ensure projects are managed within approved PM processes.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities across cost, schedule, and technical.
• Make personnel recommendations in support of business objectives.
• Develop high-quality competitive proposals for business objectives.
• Collaborate across functions to leverage program execution from design to manufacturing.
• Grow relationships with customers and primes to deploy Saab technology.
