Job summary

The Senior Manager of Program at the Alzheimer's Association leads a portfolio of Community Program Offerings in Birmingham, AL, building awareness, education and support across diverse communities. You will recruit, coach and mobilize volunteers, activate partnerships, and manage program delivery with impact-driven outcomes.

You will mentor volunteers, coordinate with leadership and partners, and drive growth through data-informed community plans while traveling as needed within the territory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements meeting organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using association methods and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships with underrepresented groups to expand reach and visibility.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with revenue, advocacy, leadership and other stakeholders to expand reach and impact.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance and manage budgets, grants and timelines with precision.
• Inspire urgency and support for the Alzheimer’s Association mission across communities, including evenings and weekends as required.
