Job summary

Alzheimer’s Association in Independence, OH seeks a Program Manager to lead our portfolio of community program offerings, mobilize volunteers, and build partnerships across diverse communities. This role focuses on awareness, education, and support, with frequent travel within Northeast Ohio to expand reach.

You will coach volunteers, manage data‑driven impact plans, and collaborate across departments to advance care, fundraising, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Confident, goal‑oriented, positive self‑starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods and manage a portfolio of Community Program Offerings.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to enhance awareness, education, support, and brand visibility.
• Develop and execute data‑informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Collaborate with revenue, advocacy, leadership, and other stakeholders to identify awareness opportunities and expand reach.
