Abbott in Alameda, CA seeks a Senior Project Leader to drive data sharing initiatives and partner integrations for the FreeStyle Libre platform. You will lead cross-functional teams and external partners in delivering complex programs from planning through execution.

The role demands independent judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage dependencies, KPIs, and regulatory expectations in a fast-paced medical-device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
• Has successfully led several high complexity projects from beginning to end.
• Demonstrated technical skills and management judgment.
• Demonstrated expertise in PM tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for features and initiatives, coordinating with R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions.
• Confirm ongoing strategic rationale and value proposition for projects.
• Map, monitor, and report dependencies; sequence work to prevent delays.
• Synthesize technical detail into a clear narrative for leadership.
• Own a portfolio of active initiatives and maintain a trustworthy status across the portfolio.
• Establish a strong collaborative rhythm for project teams and ensure commitments are met.
• Drive cross-functional problem solving and external stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor business processes and align with management on key decisions.
