Job summary

PeopleInc in Amherst, NY is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Community Based Services to provide oversight to the program and supervise staff, ensuring quality supports align with our Agency Mission.

You will direct services, ensure person-centered plans, staff training, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating group activities and transportation as needed in a temporary, Monday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years’ supervisory experience or completion of agency management training.
• Valid Driver’s License that meets agency policy.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from individuals, staff, or regulatory agencies.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates provision of services and programming under direction.
• Promotes an environment in which people’s rights are upheld.
• Ensures each person has a developed program plan reflecting their needs.
• Staffing, supervision, retention to meet people’s needs.
• Manage resources and staff scheduling for program coverage.
• Train and develop staff to maintain quality of care and services.
• Ensure resources are available for staff to complete duties.
• Keep staff informed about policies and procedures.
• Lead new project assignments and participate in agency committees.
• Ensure compliance with governing rules and documentation of goals.
• Coordinate Life Plan meetings and person-centered plan development.
• Assist with intake to meet program requirements.
• Coordinate and run group activities, including transportation and support.
