Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a technically strong Program/Capture Manager, Associate Director to lead capture and execution of Advanced Materials research and development programs for customers such as DARPA, AFRL, and ONR. In this role, you will shape winning proposals and deliver ceramic, metallic, and composite enabling technology programs.

This onsite role can be located at Andover, MA; McKinney, TX; Arlington, VA; Tucson, AZ; or Portsmouth, RI, reflecting Raytheon's nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 12+ years in chemical or materials engineering.
• Experience in capture management and technology development programs.
• Strong network with government research organizations and labs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams to address customer-identified technology needs and gaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams in creating white papers and winning proposals.
• Oversee program teams for successful execution of technology-focused contracts.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and government organizations.
• Develop and lead internal IRAD and capital projects to grow opportunities.
• Support AMTT Director in strategy, budgeting, and financial commitments.
• Assist with internal/external communications, reviews, and reporting.
• Mentor and train staff to maintain a high-performing team.
