This is a hybrid full-time position with responsibilities including forecasting labor costs, invoicing, monthly financial reports, EAC analysis, and cost control across multiple contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Forecast labor costs across multiple efforts, assist with invoicing and collections, and analyze actuals vs. planned costs.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, ensure project financials are accurate, and communicate funding issues to the customer.
• Assist in contract financial analysis, forecasts, funding, burn rate, and related discussions with finance and accounting.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, manage costs, materials, milestones, and staffing for high-visibility projects.
• Maintain internal controls and policies based on contract requirements and accounting standards.
• Review contract processes and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor timesheet compliance, contractor hours, and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure timely execution of task orders from inception to completion.
• Track subcontractor funding, subcontractor billing, and payments.
• Foster relationships across Operations, Accounting, Contracts, HR, and other functions.
