Knightscope, Inc is looking for a Chief Program Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA, to lead the Emergency Communication Device (ECD) product line, which includes the Blue Light Tower and Emergency Phone.

The candidate will oversee product quality and new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, while reporting directly to the CEO. A strong background in emergency systems and leadership capabilities is essential.

Compensation includes a base salary of $150k-$180k, stock options, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product development or engineering programs.
• Deep understanding of system architecture for outdoor-rated devices.
• Hands-on experience validating integrated hardware from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for ECD product line.
• Lead new product development for the next generation Retrofit Kit.
• Drive continuous innovation to improve ECD product capabilities.
