Job summary

Hill International, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a Vice President to lead and coordinate all aspects of programs, manage scope and budgets, and mentor project managers.

The role ensures strong communication across a multi-disciplinary team, clients, and agencies involved in capital projects. Overseeing consultants and contractors, the VP will coordinate status reporting to leadership, enforce compliance with laws and standards, and drive staffing and project delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Construction Management, Project Management, or Architecture preferred.
• 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager.
• Organizing heavy and complex workloads, establish and adjust priorities, and accomplish objectives within established scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Effective communications and interpersonal skills with executive managers, city staff representation, and transit constituencies.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required.
• Must possess technical and procedural writing skills as well as excellent verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading, coordinating all aspects of program.
• Overall responsibility for managing established scope and budget for projects and mentoring project managers.
• Ensures communication within multi-disciplinary project management teams, clients and staff.
• Oversees consultants and contractors involved in capital projects and coordinates with these entities.
• Communicates project status with federal, state, regional, and local agencies.
• Regularly communicates project status, milestones and issues with leadership.
• Prepares regular project status reports, including monthly leadership reports.
• Ensures project compliance with all laws, regulations, codes and standards.
• First level lead for all consultant and sub-consultant team.
• Responsible for development of staffing plans related to contract.
