Job summary

Vinfen seeks a senior program leader to oversee clinical, financial, and administrative operations for brain injury and behavioral health programs in Massachusetts. You will supervise directors, guide rehabilitative strategies, and ensure high-quality records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical, financial, and administrative operations of programs serving individuals with brain injuries or behavioral conditions
• Direct, manage, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop program staff
• Supervise Program Directors
• Provide supervision and direction on rehabilitative strategies, techniques, interventions, and treatment strategies
• Assist Program Directors with comprehensive assessments
• Resolve problems for staff and persons served
• Lead work groups and ensure program goals and objectives are achieved
• Provide updated policies and directives to staff
• Act as liaison to prospective persons served and conduct intake procedures and initial assessments
• Ensure timely completion and quality of clinical records, service plans, and support documents
• Ensure compliance with quality, licensing, certification, accreditation, regulatory, and program standards
• Develop and manage adherence to program budgets
• Ensure collection of program fees and service delivery data
• Represent Vinfen with professional, trade, regulatory, and funding organizations
• Maintain relationships with providers, families, vendors, neighbors, and community officials
• Participate in internal and external case and treatment-plan meetings
• Manage adverse events and ensure corrective actions are implemented and reported
• Ensure compliance with Vinfen MAP protocols
• Respond to data collection and reporting requests
• Monitor program quality and implement improvements
• Provide direct care and on-call backup coverage as needed
• Maintain knowledge of human services issues, trends, and techniques
• Ensure facility maintenance and safety
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in progressively responsible human services functions
• Three of those years must have been in a supervisory capacity
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of personal computer applications and equipment
• Knowledge of operations management procedures and practices
• Knowledge of financial management practices in human service organizations
• Knowledge of advocacy techniques
• Knowledge of communication and learning styles
• Knowledge of human, legal, civil rights, community, and other resources
• Knowledge of equipment, therapies, and service providers
• Knowledge of empowerment and self-advocacy techniques
• Knowledge of formal and informal assessment practices
• Knowledge of participatory planning and crisis intervention techniques
• Knowledge of documentation requirements and decision-making processes
• Ability to provide leadership and team management
• Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments
• Ability to work professionally and confidentially
• License check and vehicle access required
• Valid US driver’s license required at employment; at least one year maintained, for driving duties
• Must be at least 21 years of age if driving
• Must pass a driver screening background check if driving
• Must maintain a safe driving record and adequate insurance when using a personal vehicle
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or a two-person lift
• Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living
• CPR required within two weeks of hire
• First Aid required within two weeks of hire
• MAP required within 150 days of hire
• Safety Care required within 90 days of hire
• NET required
• May be asked to obtain CBIS certification
• Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred
