Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Stars-related projects within Stars Enterprise Activation, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
• Serve as a liaison between the principal and enterprise teams, translating business needs into actionable plans.
• Lead Enterprise Activation coordination of weekly governance, leadership updates and quarterly reviews with key business partners.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, monitor dependencies and deliverables, and ensure alignment with milestones and priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, resolve delivery barriers, and communicate progress and decisions to stakeholders.
• Maintain program dashboards and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with analytics, quality, compliance, legal, IT, and operational teams to embed Stars strategies into workflows.

The Stars Enterprise Activation team drives Humana's enterprise-wide Stars strategy, ensuring alignment across multiple operational areas. This associate for Stars Enterprise Activation implements the strategic vision and oversee high-level integration, but the complexity and volume of initiatives across and within the Enterprise Verticals requires dedicated Sr. Program Delivery Professional to manage execution and ensure timely delivery.

The Senior Program Delivery Professional will provide program management and operational oversight for Stars activation and integration across the enterprise. This role will support management of the Enterprise Activation portfolio, strengthen governance, and help ensure the timely execution of projects aligned with Humana's enterprise Stars strategy. Through cross-functional coordination and disciplined program delivery, this role will enable operational excellence and continuous improvement in Stars performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery & Execution:

• Manage the delivery of Stars-related projects within Stars Enterprise Activation, ensuring milestones, timelines, are met.
• Serve as a liaison between the principal and enterprise teams, translating business needs into actionable plans.

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, monitor dependencies and deliverables, and drive accountability to ensure work remains aligned with established milestones and enterprise priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, facilitate resolution of delivery barriers, and communicate progress, decisions, and next steps to key stakeholders.
• Maintain program dashboards, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with enterprise partners including analytics, quality, compliance, legal, IT, and operational teams to embed Stars strategies into workflows

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years in program and/or project management within healthcare or insurance operations
• Experience managing and tracking projects, portfolios and/or programs
• Comfortable working on new projects with limited knowledge/expertise of the content and be able to learn quickly
• Ability to execute tasks captured in a project plan
• Ability to facilitate meetings with multiple participants of varying levels capturing relevant information
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office XP products (Word & Excel)

Role Desirables

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• PMP certification a plus
• Experience with project management software such as: Microsoft Project & Monday
• Knowledge of Stars

• Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
