True Anomaly, Inc. seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to own non-labor program costs and inventory accounting across systems. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure complete, accurate cost data and robust internal controls.

The role requires 5+ years in cost or project accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with government contracts (FAR/CAS, DCAA). On-site in Long Beach, CA with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with cost accounting, project accounting, and GAAP.
• Strong communication skills to convey cost information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with government contracts, FAR/CAS, and DCAA compliance is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end non-labor program costs across systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Partner with business and finance stakeholders to track, validate, and report program costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform cost variance analysis and communicate findings to program and finance teams.
• Support development and maintenance of project budgets, EACs, and cost forecasts.
• Own inventory accounting processes end-to-end and establish inventory controls with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Assist with monthly close, financial statements, and audits, including CAS, FAR, and DCAA readiness.
