Job summary

The State of North Carolina’s Department of Transportation seeks a Program Coordinator III (S) to oversee the Division’s Professional Services Program, coordinating CEI, LSC, and GESC engagements and ensuring compliant, efficient delivery across divisions.

The role leads program procedures, responds to audits, and aligns division activities with policy. Strong knowledge of enterprise systems and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Public administration principles, program objectives/standards are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, administer, and govern the Division’s Professional Services Program (CEI, LSC, GESC) engagements.
• Establish procedures, enforce policies and regulations, resolve program issues, and engage stakeholders for compliant, efficient delivery.
• Lead cross-unit program functions and provide guidance to staff supporting program activities.
