Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a program coordinator to oversee Student Placement & Enrollment activities and district enrollment operations. This role coordinates school assignments, collaborates across departments, and ensures enrollment processes meet priorities and funding constraints.

Required are an advanced degree and progressive program coordination experience, plus strong English communication and data skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Eight years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
• Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to the program.
• Experience with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• English verbal and written communication skills.
• Some positions may require certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and functions of designated programs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and ensure goals and objectives are met within priorities, time and funding.
• Administer day-to-day operations of Student Placement & Enrollment and district enrollment.
• Coordinate student placements, enrollment, and school assignments.
• Collaborate with district departments, schools, and the community to provide responsive enrollment systems.
