Job summary

Honeywell in Palmetto, FL is seeking a Sr Program Controls Specialist to manage and oversight program control activities for UOP Equipment projects and proposals. You will plan, create, and manage project schedules, monitor costs, risks, and performance metrics, and provide deliverables.

You will report to the Sr Program Controls Director and work on a hybrid schedule from Florida, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize controls processes and drive on-time, within-budget project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project planning process for allocated projects/proposals.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all project reports related to schedules.
• Facilitate schedule creation with stakeholders to confirm logic and durations.
• Develop schedules for proposals and conduct schedule analyses.
• Create the project baseline schedule with stakeholders.
• Check schedule logic, durations, and resource loading for workability.
• Prepare schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support change orders and re-baselining of schedules.
• Perform what-if analyses for efficient schedules and recovery plans.
• Report earned value metrics including variances and forecasts.
• Maintain client schedules per contract and identify critical paths.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction for progress updates.
• Conduct variance analyses and propose recovery actions.
• Issue progress reports and schedule updates per template.
• Participate in project reviews and provide actionable schedule guidance.
• Contribute to development of project controls tools and methodologies.
• Participate in audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
