Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Senior Program Control Analyst to join our Government Services team in Carlsbad, CA. This hybrid, site-based role focuses on planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for multiple programs, including integration of subcontractor schedules and Earned Value Management to inform key decision-makers.

You will work with the PM and program team to establish cost baselines, monitor funding sources, and produce timely performance insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a relevant technical field.
• Mastery of Earned Value Management principles and EVMS guidelines.
• Experience with full EVM programs, including IBRs and cost/schedule deliverables.
• Experience generating IPMR/IPMDAR reports for customer submission.
• Hands-on experience with WADs, CAPs, and VARs.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency; MS Project scheduling in a high-tech engineering environment.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• Track record of managing programs with multiple funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and critical path.
• Conduct EVM analysis against cost baseline and forecast monthly costs.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and interdependencies; develop mitigation plans.
• Lead schedule reviews and status meetings; capture performance metrics.
• Provide ad-hoc scheduling, cost estimating, and financial control support.
