Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Program Manager specialized in earned value and integrated project controls. The role focuses on maintaining control accounts, baselines, and EVM compliance on defense programs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in program management within aerospace/defense, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in program management, integrated project control, or EVM in defense/aerospace
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance
• Role may require travel up to 20% and support for off-site meetings/reviews
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail and compliance

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the control account within the IMS, ensuring work package definition, sequencing, and baselines are accurate and current
• Lead or participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Integrated Performance Reviews (IPRs)
• Track and report earned value metrics (EV, PV, AC), analyze variances, and initiate corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate with Work Package Managers (WPMs), Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), and functional disciplines (engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics)
• Develop and present status reports, briefings, and risk registers to program leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with LM EVM policies, DAU competencies, and applicable government contract requirements (FAR, DFARS)
• Identify and mitigate schedule/cost risks; support root cause analysis of performance deviations
• Facilitate data-driven decision making through performance trend analysis and forecast updates
