Position Description:

The Senior Program Control Analyst position requires an individual to have 5-8 years of applicable experience and a degree in Finance or Accounting. Qualified candidates will need to possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, oral and written skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of forecasting/budgeting, project accounting including IFRS and revenue recognition. Candidates in this role will be expected to work closely with other finance members, sector VPs, and other senior members of CGI Federal leadership.

This position is located in our Huntsville, AL office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all financial aspects of the assigned contracts including but not limited to month-end close, forecasting/budgeting, and reporting and analysis.
2. Responsible for full life cycle contract support including contract startup, revenue recognition, estimates at completion, monthly forecasting, invoice review, monthly financial status reports, variance analysis, journal entries and invoice preparation.
3. Meets corporate requirements by providing monthly Healthcheck, monthly financial status reports, invoice review and unbilled reconciliation, margin and other analysis as needed.
4. Supports internal and external audits and ensures policies and procedures are met.
5. Performing revenue calculations correctly in accordance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), IFRS and CGI Policies.
6. Calculating revenue and expenses, including accruals, capitalization and amortization schedules for monthly close in a timely manner.
7. Performing detailed reporting and analysis of monthly financial information to include revenue and cost variances and trend analysis.
8. Working closely with Project Managers in monthly forecasting and analyzing variances to previous forecast and budget.
9. Supporting project reviews, opportunity and delivery review meetings with accurate financial data and value-added financial analyses.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Bachelor's degree plus 5-8 years of directly related experience.
2. Federal contracting experience, Finance, Accounting, High Excel proficiency, Deltek CostPoint, IFRS, CAS, FAR, ETC, EAC, Revenue Recognition, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $121,900.00.
