Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst / Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do

Critical success factors for candidates will include a dynamic leadership presence with a demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior Analysts. The candidate selected will foster an environment of continuous learning and process improvement, maintain execution velocity in a highly dynamic environment, and engage with all levels of stakeholders. The candidate selected for this role must have strong organizational, problem-solving and closure skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and levels of professionals and management. This role will work with segment level program analysts to standardize IPMDAR Supplier integration and validation across Sentinel, update dashboards and complete regular audits of processes, support DECM metric justifications and related coaching to segment level, support internal and external audits. Additional tasking related to excellent management of FFP/T&M suppliers may be required.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal level or level Sr. Principal level.

  • Principal Level: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience. 6+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Sr. Principal Level: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of related professional experience. 9+years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Both Levels Require The Following Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Experience using Microsoft office suite, such as Excel, Word, Power Point, including Power BI
  • Experience with SAP and or SAP Business Warehouse
  • Experience managing competing priorities and deadlines for projects/ assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years). US citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • 3+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.
  • Awareness of subcontracts and IWO agreements.
  • Experience with Deltek Cobra, MS Project, and OneIWO.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $147,100.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
