Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Program Control Analyst

Location: Huntsville, AL or Niceville, FL (Hybrid)

Canvas is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support our Corporate office! Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties:

  • Assist with managing complex contracts with multiple line items, funding streams, and subcontractors
  • Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of billable contracts in the accounting system (Deltek Costpoint) to ensure consistency with the contracts and support of the Program Management's contract performance reporting requirements
  • Develop plans, budgets, and schedules, to meet contractual/project requirements for multiple contracts with a variety of contract types, such as FFP, CPFF, T&M, as well as hybrids
  • Develop financial controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements
  • Monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met
  • Participate in monthly Program Management Reviews
  • Produce Cost reports and CDRLs to distribute to customers & internal management
  • Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs baseline
  • Calculate and process invoices in Deltek Costpoint
  • Review and validate contract revenue
  • Generate reports of revenue, profit, and direct labor projections by contract
  • Initiate funding alerts to the contracts administrator for all contracts assigned
  • Allocate subcontractor funding and assist in the preparation of subcontractor funding modifications
  • Review of subcontractor/vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Work closely with contract administrators to review all new contracts and contract modifications
  • Assist in the investigations and resolution of AR invoice issues
  • Assist in the pricing of labor, travel, and materials for various types of contracts and proposals
  • Follow a closeout process to close out contracts when they are complete and after audit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of program control/financial analyst experience in federal government contracting working with CPFF, T&M, and Fixed price contracts
  • Experience with AMCOM Express or complex contracts with multiple line items, funding streams, and subcontractors
  • Strong aptitude for using & enhancing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong commitment to customer service, and ability to plan and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint to include Billing, Project Setup, Project Reporting, Business Intelligence (desired)
  • Experience working with Cost-type contracts and unit pricing (desired)
