Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Program Chief Engineer for the Redmond, WA site. You will lead program engineering activities and coordinate across disciplines to deliver mission-critical space propulsion and power systems.

The role requires broad technical leadership, strong communication with customers, and willingness to travel up to 10% within the US. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related engineering field; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience in lieu of degree accepted per policy with deep engineering background.
• US security clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support program technical activities to design, assemble and test program hardware.
• Provide broad engineering leadership to ensure performance and customer confidence.
• Ensure compliance to policy and standard work across all technical activities.
• Maintain planning and execution through design development, reviews, and product ownership.
• Lead root-cause investigations and interface with customer to show value.
• Support change proposal activities, including BCE, estimates, and writeups.
• Maintain professional relationships with customer peers and management.
• Support customer meetings to discuss progress, risks, interfaces, and milestones.
• Collaborate with program management to resolve resource conflicts.
• Travel within the United States up to 10% to customers/suppliers.
• Ability to obtain a US LEVEL security clearance.
