Job summary

JRC Careers in Washington seeks a Senior Program Analyst to support Navy SSP NWS policy and compliance for SLCM-N. You will provide SME analyses, develop training materials, and coordinate with SSP stakeholders to improve program effectiveness.

The role requires extensive DoD nuclear weapons experience, submarine service background, and familiarity with NARP/NIMS and ordnance documentation. A Top Secret clearance is required, with opportunities for growth and impact on national security programs.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD clearance at Top Secret or higher is required.
  • 10 years of experience in FBM/SWS and NWS programs or equivalent submarine operations.
  • Experience with DoD Nuclear Weapons Accident Response Procedures (NARP) and National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ordnance documents, SWOPs, firing craft procedures, and related docs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SME support and conduct analyses, research, testing, and data validation for SLCM-N weapon systems aboard submarines and support facilities.
  • Interface directly with SSP staff on NWS matters and provide program planning input.
  • Develop, deliver, and revise NWS products, procedures, and processes to support SLCM-N.
  • Prepare and revise ordnance documentation and SSP instructions as required.
  • Support inspections, including documentation, archiving results, and on-site presence as needed.
  • Coordinate with Type Commanders, Groups, and SSNs on sustainment, training, and qualification programs.
