Job summary

The Profee Specialty Coder Sr. position at The CSI Companies is a remote, full-time opportunity focused on OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine coding.

Qualifications

• Active coding certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional fee coding experience after certification.
• Experience coding OB/GYN and/or Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) services.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Demonstrated coding accuracy of 95% or greater.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines in accordance with regulations and payer requirements.
• Abstract patient and physician data into Epic and other designated systems.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while achieving 95%+ coding accuracy.
• Collaborate with HIM, CDI, providers, and revenue cycle teams for accurate documentation.
• Support denial prevention through compliant coding practices.
• Participate in coding audits, education, and process improvement.
