Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is hiring at the Lexington, NC area for Productivity Specialists who will develop strong customer relationships across shop floor, programming, engineering and purchasing, while serving as a central knowledge base for machine accessories and tooling.

You will analyze customer equipment to recommend efficient solutions, partner with sales across pre‑sales to project completion, and deliver compelling demonstrations. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machine tool experience.
• Experience reviewing and processing part prints, fixturing strategies, and tooling selection.
• Internally driven with a deep‑seated desire to win in a competitive marketplace.
• Self‑motivated and capable of operating with minimal direction.
• Strategic approach to all work and creativity for solving challenges.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
• Team player and independent worker with strong communication.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; presentation experience; public speaking.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid U.S. driver’s license, clean driving record.
• Daily travel throughout the assigned territory with occasional long distance/overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong customer relationships across multiple levels within their organizations.
• Act as a central knowledge base for machine accessories, work holding, and tooling.
• Analyze customer equipment and processes to recommend ROI‑driven solutions.
• Partner with capital equipment sales to meet customer needs from pre‑sales to project completion.
• Lead projects by collaborating with engineering, contracts, service, and management teams.
• Deliver outstanding customer product demonstrations and attend industry training.
• Stay current with new products, processes, and technologies.
