Job summary

Astronics AES is seeking a Sr. Production Test Technician on First Shift in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on testing and troubleshooting high-power electronics with emphasis on training and adherence to procedures.

The ideal candidate has an AS in Electronics Technology or related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in HiPot/industrial test software and complex assemblies. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or related field / equivalent electronics military schooling and experience required.
• 2–4 years of direct experience in essential functions.
• High-power electronics and/or high-power avionics technician experience may count in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up, troubleshooting, rework and quality testing of parts and assemblies.
• Assemble, test and troubleshoot complex assemblies and/or final systems using standard test equipment; analyze results to evaluate performance and determine adjustments.
• Setup of specialized test equipment.
• Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating and test data.
• May assist in developing methods to modify the manufacturing process; may work with engineers in experiments.
